Kenya Gatundu Peaberry — LIMITED!
Light body, balanced acidity, and notes of cane sugar, caramel, black currant, and aromatic citrus.
Gatundu’s processing mill is part of Gitwe Farmer’s Cooperative Society, serving four villages in the area — and the cooperative has built a membership of over 900 producers since beginning in 1983. SL-28 and SL-34 make up most of the coffee grown, with just a small amount of Ruiri-11 mixed in. This is the Peaberry outturn from those crops. Peaberries are formed when a rounded bean develops instead of two flat beans inside a cherry. This is a delicious and unique coffee we’re excited to offer.
