Bean Profile
Costa Rica has long been a pioneer in coffee processing, including this unique Hot Spring Water washed process. During processing, coffee is pulped and fermented using natural mineral-rich thermal spring water. The warm water accelerates the breakdown of the fruit’s remaining mucilage, resulting in exceptional cup clarity while allowing the beans to absorb trace minerals from the springs. The result is a clean, complex cup that showcases the classic fruit notes for which the TarrazĂș region is known, complemented by a distinctive touch of warm spice.
