Bean Profile
Juan Tama is a pioneering organization of indigenous communities in the municipality of Inzá in the Cauca department of Colombia. Founded in 2008, the association encompasses 600 families with an estimated production of 10000 – 13000 bags of coffee each year. The association also provides farm assistance to its members in the form of micro-loans and agronomic assistance such as crop management, on-farm processing, and organic farm management. This is an outstanding coffee for any brew method — and we love the community-minded approach to the Juan Tama Association!
