Bean Profile
Finca Fátima is a third-generation family farm in Coatepec, Veracruz, cared for by siblings Ernesto Perez and Givette Perez Orea. Sitting at roughly 1,250 meters above sea level, the farm has focused on quality-driven coffee for decades, long before specialty coffee became common in the region.
Today, Ernesto and Givette continue that legacy by cultivating varieties such as Criolla, Typica, and Geisha, with select lots entered into Mexico’s Cup of Excellence. What sets Finca Fátima apart is a true seed-to-cup approach—coffee is grown, processed, roasted, and brewed right on the farm. As roasters themselves, the producers understand how every decision in the field shapes the final cup.
