Bean Profile
The Tzeltal are one of the main indigenous Maya groups residing in Mexico. Almost everyone in the highland region of Chiapas speaks Tzeltal as their first language, and they govern the area according to their own customs and laws to preserve their traditions and culture. The expansive valleys and hills of Chiapas are home to Los Altos, situated at an elevation of 1,600 to 1,850 meters above sea level. Rich deposits of marble stone cover the ground in the shaded primary forests that border the Lacandona jungle. This is a solid-performing coffee to add to your coffee routine!
