Bean Profile
We. Love. This. Coffee! We ordered this microlot from Kenya based on the rave reviews from our importer, and we were NOT disappointed! The producer, Dorothy Njeri Gitau, is a retired primary school teacher and the owner of Mung’ethu Estate. Her farm enjoys ideal coffee-growing conditions: it lies roughly 6,000 feet above sea level; and it is on the the Komothai river, full of red volcanic soil that is rich in organic matter. Dorothy’s estate averages 16 bags (60 kgs) per year, and we’re excited and honored to be able to share her coffee with you!
